Since 1840, Tinsley Dry Goods has been a landmark in downtown Springfield.
Located in the heart of historic downtown Springfield, Illinois and adjacent to the
Lincoln-Herndon Law Office just off the Old Capitol square, our shop reflects the
look and feel of shopping when Abe himself walked the floors of the Tinsley
Building.
Stop in to this charming shop for the area's largest collection of Lincoln busts,
souvenirs, exclusive t-shirts with Lincoln themes, cards, fragrant soy jar candles
and accessories, period decor and music, rustic metal and wood signs, civil war
figures and Willow Tree Angels.
Tinsley Dry Goods was renovated in the spring of 2005 to take the shop back to
the look and feel of the mid-1800's. With a tin ceiling, pine beams and a rustic
native white oak wooden floor, it's the only period shop in the downtown historic
district. And, we received Downtown Springfield's Best Interior Renovation award
for 2005!

Last year marked the 200th birthday of our nation's favorite President,
Abraham Lincoln.
